The Window (detail)

Recently, I seem to leaning an awful lot towards subject matter about death and dying; I think it's a personal exploration that could well result in less fear about the process. I suspect it must be wonderful to be dead, but it's also wonderful to be alive, so what'r ya gonna do? I'm certainly not going to try it out with the next bus that passes my way. This image makes the whole subject soft and warm and inevitable.... the bright images at the window are barely discernable as wings. They could be birds, they could be angels, they could be figments.
