What Lies Beneath (detail)

These rocks had so much character, they demanded a large canvas. What struck me was the almost clashing colour palettes of the rock above water and the rock below. Just walking around this rocky riverbank on the Port Alberni Highway gave one the feeling of being in an outdoor art gallery. I practically wore my camera out.
