Waterlight 3: The Process

I had been experimenting with unusual color combinations; playing in areas that you're "not supposed to" play in. Is there anything more sacred to artists than "colors that go together" and "colors that don't"? We all more or less agree on certain rules and stick to them; but I wonder where all this came from? Are these agreements true? Or just "true" because that's what we learned and agree upon. Is this just a huge club we all unknowingly joined it and have no idea how to quit? One of the interesting the things about constantly surrendering control is that sooner or later you find yourself letting some pretty sacred cows out of the pen. This piece is not that far out into The Land of Unacceptables, just brushing the shores.
