I recently decided that perhaps I could enjoy an occasional landscape, especially if the subject was challenging in the rendering of light. This was indeed a challenge, taken as it was in the "golden hour" just before sunset and with a small maple at the peak of its glory. I hope I did it justice; Mother Nature has dibs on perfection.
