I have always been curious about the phenomenon of "auras" and those people who can see them; I cannot. But I think we all can sense the "vibes" we get from certain individuals and certain moods... they seem to permeate the room. I wanted to begin a series of pieces that explores the relationship between these ethereal realities and the expressions of what our eyes actually see, in the hopes of going deeper into the spirituality of what being human means. This is my first piece and although some may interpret it as someone on a less-than-natural high, I see it as an expression of the summits of human joy.
