This piece has been around for quite awhile. In a closet. It was my last attempt at painting something large with no studio space, while keeping a four-year-old and two-year-old at bay, pregnant with the third. I am still quite happy with this painting; perhaps it was the stress that brought out the best in me. I think metaphysics and spirituality will always find their way into my artwork. In the past there has been a lot of reference to organized religions and my mental confrontations with their arrogance and blindness. Hence, 20/20. Every one of these cardinals is wearing glasses.
